COMMERCIAL

We cover drafting and design for smaller commercial jobs that simply require a proposed layout for a shop or business. These can be used to decide if the premises you are looking to lease have a suitable floor space for your business requirements. These type of jobs are generally issued for your information and are not suitable for submission to the relevant authorities. These include but are not limited to:

  • Shop layouts for existing buildings

  • Site layout for determining use of block

  • Office layout for potential fitout

Drafting services for medium to larger commercial jobs generally include additional buildings to a commercial premises. These are suitable for submission to the relevant authorities. This level of service also includes smaller commercial jobs which require plans to be drafted for approval purposes by relevant authorities. Other examples include but are not limited to:

  • Office modifications to existing building

  • Additional utility buildings such as ablution blocks or additional office space

  • Shed lean-to for storage

  • Shop layouts

  • Commercial site layouts

  • Office fitouts

SPECIAL NOTE

It is a requirement that every property be surveyed and any new foundations or structural changes be certified by a Civil/structural engineer. There will also be a requirement for the building to be assessed for Energy Efficiency.

 

Quoted prices are for drafting only. It does not include costs for council fees, engineering, surveying or energy efficiency assessments.
